LA-based electro-R&B duo VECTOR_XING have unveiled a new track entitled “Computer-Eyes,” along with announcing their debut EP 44OHz, scheduled for release on October 30th. Free Bike Valet refers to the group’s sound as “genre-shifting,” and captures the aura of what the band calls “digital soul.” The new EP was produced by Adam Boukis of the LA dream-pop band Satchmode, and will feature four tracks – including the widely embraced lead single “Wild-Child.”
The song is about finding love in a digital age where people can make up online versions of themselves that only highlight certain aspects of themselves,” explains vocalist and co-founding member Stevan Cablayan. “As a result, sometimes you fall in love with that ideal version of a person rather than the real version.”
