Riot Fest and Soda Jerk Presents are extremely excited to announce that starting in 2015, the newly and aptly named Riot Fest & Rodeo (formerly Riot Fest & Sideshow) will take place in its new Denver home: National Western Complex (4655 Humboldt St.) on August 28th, 29thand 30th, bringing a stampede of music, rides and rodeo-themed amusements to Denver.
“What sets Riot Fest Denver apart from the other two markets (Chicago and Toronto) is we create a new theme for it every year,” said Michael Petryshyn, Riot Fest Founder. “We did it last year at Mile High and it was something that we really enjoyed doing with the creative team here and with Denver-based Shike Design. So, now that we’re at the Complex, Riot Fest & Rodeo it is. But, even more exciting are the people at the National Western Complex. They understand who we are, want to see the fest succeed and are sincerely some of the nicest people I’ve met in quite some time. It’s still moves me to see people care about Riot as much as I do.”
The complete site, themed installations and the usual quirky Riot Fest nuisances will be released in May alongside the line-up announcement, but, according to Petryshyn, this year is going to be one of their best from fan experience and entertainment.
To celebrate the announcement, organizers are releasing a limited number of early bird 3-day passes tomorrow at 12pm MST, so music fans on a budget can take advantage of great prices (starting at $69.98) for more bands than you can shake a stick at. The complex is located at 4655 Humboldt Street; visit www.nationalwesterncomplex.com for more information.
