Rising artist MAY-A has released a new version of Flume‘s “Say Nothing” taken from his recently released album, Palaces. “Say Nothing (MAY-A’s Version)” is a stark contrast to the original track, in which she is also featured. Swapping dark, yet energetic synth for acoustic guitar and atmospheric production, the new version of “Say Nothing” perfectly highlights MAY-A’s emotional vocals. Watch an accompanying video now below.
MAY-A joined Flume for a performance of “Say Nothing” during his set at Coachella alongside such surprise guests as Beck, Tove Lo, Vince Staples, and Caroline Polachek. She is currently performing with Flume as a special guest on select dates of his US tour, and will join him on his Australian album tour run this fall. Nominated for Rolling Stone Australia’s “Best New Artist” award and recognized by Vogue as one of the “next generation of Australian musicians,” MAY-A made her debut last year with her EP, Don’t Kiss Ur Friends, available HERE.
