Dublin-based four-piece alternative pop band, milk. have released their new single, “I Might Bore You.” today. Serving as the first self-produced song by the band’s Mark McKenna, “I Might Bore You.” is also the first song to be taken from their new project. Listen to it now below.
Of the song, McKenna said, “I Might Bore You. is about the suddenness with which people can change. It’s about the different speeds that each of us develop at, and the fear that one’s personal growth may be the catalyst for losing someone that was once close, as hard as it may be.”
Morgan Wilson added, “Returning to live shows has shown us how much the listenership and their intensity has grown over the last couple of years while we were unable to play live. This was really special for us, and certainly made us aware of our ability to affect and relate to people with our music – realising that it matters to others as much as it matters to us was a very heartening thing.”
“With our new releases, we hope to simplify and distill our approach to songwriting and deliver a work that’s distinctive and honest, clearly us, while also pushing our sound in a new direction. We aim to develop as much as we can as musicians and friends in the process, and we can only hope you love them like we do.”
