Denver’s Finding Common Ground have been dominating the local pop-punk scene since 2011 with high energy live shows and a solid sound spearheaded by honest, emotional vocals and hard hitting instrumentals. The band’s performance will be their last for quite a while, so come sing along and give bassist Mackenzie Broadhurst a good send off!

If you’re even remotely involved in the Denver pop-punk scene, then it’s likely that you’ve heard of Postcards. Much like Finding Common Ground, these guys have been a staple in the local scene since 2012 and are constantly working on new music or touring. Seriously, they’re always busy. In fact, they just dropped their newest EP, Close But Not Quite along with a stunning video for lead single, “Roses,” which can be seen below.

Boulder emo/pop-rock band Rain In July will keep spirits high with their fearless and energetic live performance. The band’s newest EP, Trying To Breathe has shot them further into the local spotlight and their live shows certainly back it up – the last time we caught the band at The Marquis, vocalist Griffin Tobey was all over the place, ending the set with a sing-along in the crowd. Things are sure to get rowdy during their set at Engage!

With a raw, catchy sound and energetic, engaging live presence, alt-rock band 1000 Miles Of Fire are proving that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. With countless packed local shows, some out of state performances (including a few east coast shows this summer) and even an opening spot for The Maine under their belts, it’s no surprise that their positive energy is infectious. 1000 Miles Of Fire are sure to keep the energy high and put on one hell of a show.

By riding the line between easycore & pop-punk, The Coast Is Ours have the ability to capture the attention of any music fan, making them a perfect fit for this diverse lineup. The chaotic Saints Of Never After are sure to provide some great energy and diversity toward the end of the night at the Hope Saves Stage. The post-hardcore band’s sound is spearheaded by melodic guitar work, dynamic screams and clean, catchy choruses – something that will follow The Coast Is Ours’ set perfectly and get people moving.

Denver rock band Wake Me managed to find a perfect balance between light and dark with their stunning new EP, The Safety Abandon, and will certainly bring that solid sound to Engage Music Festival. We’re definitely excited to hear these newcomers’ anthemic, high energy sound live!

Surprisingly one of the younger bands performing on the Hope Saves Stage, Tonight We Rise have already amassed a devoted local following, developed an incredible live presence and created unique sound in their three years together. Their punchy, guitar driven sound is easy to pick apart from a pack and their live presence is captivating – something that will easily take over the Moon Room at Summit Music Hall.
The Anchor

This female-fronted, metalcore five-piece is creating high energy, dynamic music with a powerful message. With the goal to reach out to those in need and provide a sense of community and acceptance, The Anchor’s positive energy and emotional vulnerability is something that the music scene needs right now. That, and this band certainly has a strikingly different sound from many of the other bands performing on the Hope Saves stage – something that you can move to, but that will also hit you right in the heart.
