Pop punk powerhouse New Found Glory came back to Fort Collins to tear The Aggie up once again! After their three day show run at the Marquis earlier this year, they proved that pop punk truly isn’t dead with yet another show on their 20th anniversary run.

The night was kicked off by the one and only, The Atatris! Playing all the big hits making everyone feel nostalgic for summer nights breaking into hotel swimming pools and wreaking havoc. The old school punk rockers have always been able to bring it and this night was no different.

Then came the moment we’d all been waiting for – New Found Glory. Starting off with a slide show from the last 20 years of photos and videos of behind the scenes and road life, they made you realize how old you actually feel. From there, the band started out blasting and jumping with “Understatement” making the ground shake and barricade flex!

With the guys playing 2 full albums and a total of 26 songs, your voice was well gone by the end of the night. “Sticks and Stones” and “Resurrection” were a perfect pair to see where most of us started with them to a newer album, and they even threw in “Happy Being Miserable” off their latest studio album which was a perfect middle point for a breather before confetti covered what little air was left in the venue. As expected, the night ended with longtime favorite song, “My Friends Over You,” and at this point if you still had that aforementioned “voice,” it was now lost and squeaking, proving why New Found Glory are still at it 20 years later.
