9/6 – False Report @ Lost Lake Lounge
There’s never a shortage of great local shows happening in Denver, and September is no exception. Denver pop-punkers False Report are set to headline Lost Lake on September 6th, bringing with them fellow must-see local bands, Gestalt, Maddie’s Changed and In My Room for an incredibly intimate and energetic show.
9/7 – The Epilogues + PLACES @ Summit
For the past couple months, Summit (formerly known as Summit Music Hall) has been going under a series of renovations, so what better way to welcome it back than with a killer local show?! As the venue’s second show back, The Epilogues and PLACES’ co-headlining show promises to be a killer one. With fellow local artists, This Broken Beat and Nightlove supporting, it promises to be a great night from start to finish.
9/11 – Places Back Home @ Larimer Lounge
Keeping the local love coming, Fort Collins indie rock band Places Back Home will be headlining Larimer Lounge on September 11th, and this is one show you don’t want to miss! For a great night from beginning to end, Redivider, Walking With Bikes and Young American Sons will be coming along for the ride.
9/11 – Belmont @ Seventh Circle Music Collective
Riding off of the success of the recently released debut full-length album, Chicago pop-punk band, Belmont will be bringing the celebration to Seventh Circle Music Collective on September 11th! Joining Belmont will be Such Gold and Chief State, as well as local acts Postcards and 1000 Miles of Fire. If you’ve been to a show at the intimate Seventh Circle before, then you know how special this show is going to be, and if you haven’t, then this is a perfect first show to see there!
9/14 – 9/16 – Grandoozy Festival @ Overland Park
The first annual Grandoozy festival is coming to Colorado this September, bringing some massive touring acts such as Kendrick Lamar, Florence + the Machine, Logic, Young The Giant and Stevie Wonder while featuring some smaller rising artists as well! Grandoozy will also showcase some some great local food and drink, incredible craft breweries and even an all day dance festival! Three day passes and single day tickets are still available.
9/15 – Rise Against @ Red Rocks Amphitheatre
If all day festivals aren’t really your thing but you still want to enjoy the good weather before fall really kicks in, then check out Rise Against’s upcoming headlining show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre! Not only will this show truly be one of a kind at the historic venue, but the lineup is also stacked, with AFI and Anti-Flag opening the show!
9/17 – Nothing But Thieves @ The Gothic Theatre
Fresh off of shows at Reading and Leeds in the UK, Nothing But Thieves are heading stateside in September, with a headlining gig at The Gothic Theatre in Denver! With a more intimate venue hosting their larger than life sound and show, this one is bound to be insane.
9/19 – lovelytheband @ Globe Hall
If you were lucky enough to catch lovelytheband in the pouring rain at this year’s Big Gig, then you’re likely dying to see them in a smaller, drier environment at Globe Hall. If this is your first time seeing them, then you’re in for a real treat! These guys have been blowing up, and it’ll come as no surprise if this is the last time they play a venue the size of Globe Hall in Denver.
9/23 – Tilian @ The Marquis Theater
With his new full-length, The Skeptic out on the 28th, Dance Gavin Dance’s Tilian Pearson will be wrapping up his headlining tour at The Marquis Theater in Denver. As the final show of the run, this one is bound to get a little rowdy, and with Royal Coda and Sunsleep opening, it’s going to be great from start to finish.
9/29 – Emo Nite @ Summit
At this point, do we even need to convince you to go to Emo Nite? If you’ve never been, Emo Nite is a 21+ event that falls somewhere between a show, a party and karaoke night with all of your friends. Back in June, Emo Nite hosted its first event at Summit Music Hall, which quickly sold out, and with Chiodos’ Craig Owens already set to make an appearance this time around, tickets are sure to go fast! Get yours while you can for a night of sing-alongs and surprise guests!
9/30 – State Champs @ The Aggie Theatre
Couldn’t get enough of State Champs at Warped Tour this summer? Don’t worry! They’ll be headlining The Aggie in Fort Collins to bring September to a perfect close. Well worth the drive if you’re coming from down south, State Champs are bringing Homesafe and Keep Flying along for the ride!
