2018 is coming to an end and already, 2019 promises to bring plenty of incredible music to Colorado. There are already a handful of must-see shows and tours stopping through the state this month, and what better way to ring in the New Year than by checking out some of Colorado’s best locals-only shows!
January tends to be a slow month when it comes to national touring artists stopping through town as everyone recovers from the holidays and hibernates during the winter, but some of Colorado’s best local artists are starting 2019 off on the right foot, with countless local shows happening across the state this month. And there’s a little bit of everything, too. Whether you’re planning on catching 888’s soon to be sold out headliner at The Marquis Theater or want something a little more intimate, like Waiting Til Three at 3 Kings Tavern or Flaural at Larimer Lounge, there’s something for everyone this month. We at The Prelude Press are also excited to be bringing My Body Sings Electric and innerspace to Lost Lake Lounge to celebrate our 5 year anniversary alongside local blog Greeblehaus and DJ Alf. (We might be a little biased there, but that’s one show we can’t wait for!)
Who are you excited to see this month? Let us know in the comments!
