Winter tends to be the slow time of the year when it comes to touring artists coming through Denver, but this February, there are plenty of shows that are worth venturing out into the cold and snow for. Whether you’re looking to warm up at one of Denver’s more intimate venues like The Marquis Theater, Globe Hall or Hi-Dive, or if you’re looking for something a little bit bigger at The Fillmore or The Ogden, we’ve got you covered!
Kicking off February is LP and Yoke Lore at The Ogden Theatre, followed by an intimate co-headliner with Hunny and Hockey Dad at Globe Hall. Easily one of our most anticipated shows this month is Bring Me The Horzion’s headliner at The Fillmore Auditorium, but the month wouldn’t be complete without some Colorado locals, too! Be sure to catch Silver & Gold’s album release show at the Moon Room! Whatever you’re in the mood for this month, there’s a little something for everyone.
Who are you excited to see this month? Let us know in the comments!
2/5 – LP @ The Ogden Theatre
Singer/songwriter LP is currently out on the road in support of her highly anticipated fifth full length album, Heart to Mouth, which was released back in December. With unfiltered, raw songwriting coupled with a one of a kind voice, LP’s headlining show at The Ogden promises to be one hell of a show. To make things even better, indie-pop sensation Yoke Lore will be opening the show, making for a great night from start to finish.
2/7 – Hunny + Hockey Dad @ Globe Hall
The perfect show to keep your warm this month, Hunny and Hockey Dad are co-headlining Globe Hall and bringing Pllush along for the ride. Both bands are still riding the waves of success following new releases (Hunny dropped their latest EP, Windows II last July and Hockey Dad released Blend Inn almost exactly a year ago) and this show promises to be a perfect mix of old and new material.
2/8 – Silver & Gold @ Moon Room
Colorado’s own Silver & Gold are kicking off the new year right with the release of their new album, Color and will be celebrating with an album release show at The Moon Room in Denver! Come celebrate with them and fellow locals Overslept, Tolstoy and Nina and the Hold Tight!
2/11 – Bring Me The Horizon @ The Fillmore Auditorium
Bring Me The Horizon just dropped their game-changing new album, amo last month and are taking their massive live show on the road, with a headlining stop at The Fillmore Auditorium this month! Not only does BMTH promise to put on one hell of a show, but opening acts Thrice and FEVER 333 promise to make this show perfect from start to finish. Thrice released their latest album Palms last year, and FEVER 333 just celebrated the release of their explosive debut album, STRENGTH IN NUMB333RS last month (and their live performance is one you don’t want to miss!)
2/19 – Saves The Day @ The Marquis Theater
Saves The Day are heading out on tour in celebration of the release of 9, their first album in 5 years. The band will be coming through Denver at Marquis Theater on February 19th with support from Remo Drive and Mighty. With a catalog spanning 24 years and nine albums, the band’s set is sure to be an energetic journey through the decades.
2/19 – As It Is @ Hi-Dive
UK-based group, As It Is released their groundbreaking album, The Great Depression last year and now, they’re taking their show on the road stateside! With Sharptooth, Hold Close and Point North providing support, this diverse lineup is one you want to show up early for.
2/20 – ONE OK ROCK @ The Gothic Theatre
Japanese rock sensations ONE OK ROCK will be headlining The Gothic this month, and if their wild live performance isn’t enough to get you out to the show, then maybe an incredibly diverse lineup will. Joining ONE OK ROCK on the road are pop-punk act Waterparks and Australian pop-rock group, Stand Atlantic. This is another great lineup that will make the show a must-see from start to finish.
2/24 – Set It Off @ Summit
Set It Off’s upcoming show in Denver quickly got upgraded from the smaller Marquis Theater to Summit, and there’s no questioning why. The band is known for their stellar live performances and devoted fanbase, and with their Fearless Records debut, Midnight dropping today, their upcoming show in Denver promises to be bigger and better than ever. Another stacked lineup, With Confidence, Super Whatevr and LIFT will be joining Set It Off at this show.
2/25 – Ella Mai @ The Ogden Theatre
Ella Mai has quickly been gaining traction since the release of her single, “Boo’d Up” last summer, her self-titled album in October and a recent performance on Saturday Night Live. Showing no signs of slowing down, she kicked off 2019 strong, embarking The Debut Tour in support of her album, with a Denver show coming up later this month! Chances are, this will be the last time you have the chance to see her at a venue like The Ogden, so grab tickets while they last!
2/26 – Nothing More @ The Ogden Theatre
Last but certainly not least, Nothing More will be headlining The Ogden at the end of this month! Known for their incredible live performances, Nothing More’s upcoming show is an absolute must-see, and making things even better is the stacked lineup, consisting of Of Mice & Men, Badflower and Palisades.
