The world’s favorite cowboy Orville Peck returned to Denver for his Bronco Tour May 8th, 2022, playing to a sold out crowd at the beautiful Mission Ballroom. The night began with a laid back set by Teddy and The Rough Riders, who performed songs off their 2019 project The Congress of Teddy and the Rough Riders, as well as newer releases like “Don’t Say Sorry”. Fans dressed as various types of westerners crowded the ballroom in anticipation of the return of their masked hero.
Orville Peck is known for his unique fashion and style, typically in a different custom outfit each performance and Denver was no different. He hit the stage in cool blue, metallic pants featuring barbed wire down the sides, while rocking a matching shirt with barbed wire across the shoulders (and of COURSE his iconic tassel cowboy mask). Playing songs from his newly released album Bronco like “C’mon Baby, Cry” and “Daytona Sand” among many others, the Denver crowd swooned over the cowboy while he shuffled on stage and serenaded them with his smooth, made-for-music voice. Denver has been lucky enough to have Orville perform here multiple times over the years, and we already can’t wait for his return!
