Omar Apollo brought his highly anticipated 2022 Desvelado Tour to the Ogden Theatre in Denver Tuesday, May 3rd for a night of smooth music and ethereal vibes. Hot off the release of his breakout album Ivory, Omar embarked on the massive thirty-four show tour across the U.S. (along with a couple Europe shows), Denver being the fifth stop. The show featured opening performances by rising L.A. star Deb Never and London R&B singer Tora-i, who won the crowd’s hearts and prepared them for the night to come.
After the mesmerizing opening acts, Omar stepped on stage to an eruption of cheers and screams, a huge smile plastered on his face as he prepared to serenade the sold out Ogden Theatre. Fans attending the concert were delighted to hear Omar perform Ivory in its entirety, including chart topping “Invincible (feat. Daniel Ceaser)” and certified classic “Killing Me”, along with a few of the greatest hits, both in English and Spanish. There was a three-piece band supporting the singer, while Omar played his iconic white electric guitar through most of his tracks. Towards the end of the night, the Ivory musician brought out a stool to slow things down before ending the night. There is no doubt that every single attendee in the building left satisfied but ready for Omar Apollo to return to Denver.
