Stockholm-born singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Graham Lake is showing no signs of slowing down in 2022 with the release of his latest single, “Out Of Love” today. The longing, melodic new track finds Graham paying homage to the different kinds of love that fade and change over time.
“This song has multiple meanings, it’s a homage to the people that once were a big part of your life but who faded with time. This song was my way of processing the beauty of how temporary things are around you. The feeling of something closing in to an end, a bittersweet feeling,” Graham Lake explained of the song.
He continued, “I was in the middle of drifting away from both love and friendships at the time I made the song, so it came to me really naturally. It brought up the sense of a new beginning but also an end to something beautiful.”
Slowing things down compared to the confident, energetic and bass-heavy “Run em Down“, released earlier this year, “Out Of Love” finds Graham Lake exploring his more melodic and emotional side. The song clearly showcases his versatility and serves as the perfect pushing-off point for more new music, which fans can expect soon.
“I want to show people that I’m capable of way more than I’ve been able to showcase in this short amount of time I’ve released music,” he expressed, “We’re working on so much new music this year. You’re going to see so many new sides of Graham Lake, this is just the beginning.”
It comes as no surprise that Graham Lake has his sights set on the future. With two dynamic new singles released this year and even more tricks up his sleeve, 2022 promises to be quite the year for the exciting new artist.
“I got big things coming up this year that I can’t announce quite yet. We’re also working hard on the shows, these concerts are going to be something else, that I can guarantee,” he concluded. “Got my first festival gigs coming up this summer and a bunch of goals to accomplish. I’m not going to talk about em before I’ve accomplished them though. So you guys are just going to have to join me on this journey.”
