Justus Bennetts is celebrating the power of “Girls” on his latest single out today via Capitol Records. The up-tempo track showcases the singer/songwriter’s clever musicality and knack for crafting complex and dynamic choruses. The catchy as hell single also arrives alongside a hilarious grandma filled Matt Shaffar-directed music video, which can be seen now below.
In the accompanying video, Justus is targeted by a group of cunning poker-playing grandmas. Their antics overpower him and ultimately, they rob his house and leave him buried in the backyard while they celebrate with cocktails.
This fresh, humorous take on a love song is a winning addition to Justus’ booming discography. After bursting onto the scene in 2021 with “Replace You,” he followed up with a string of singles including the nostalgia-soaked alt-pop smash “Cool Kids” and his acoustic DIY tune “Don’t Trip” featuring teen hitmaker GAYLE, Justus is cementing his status as one of pop’s most promising and original new artists. Justus recently wrapped up a national tour with GAYLE and has upcoming festival shows looming in the horizon.
