Grammy award winning artist SZA returned to Denver for leg two of her sold out S.O.S. tour at Ball Arena downtown. The TDE singer boasted a massive production, featuring five “acts”, each with an accompanying outfit and scenery change.
The show featured an opening performance from bubbling star d4vd, who has been making waves for his recent hits “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me”. The 18 year old hit maker was the perfect fit to warm up the crowd for SZA, showing off tracks from his most recent project Petals to Thorns and getting the crowd loose and ready to dance.
To everyone’s surprise, the SZA opened her set from the lower back level of the arena, interacting with fans and smiling from ear to ear as she made her way through the crowd and to the stage. Playing hits from every era, SZA entranced the crowd atop a sinking ship with backup dancers as first mates. Songs like “Snooze”, “Doves In the Wind”, and “Gone Girl” had the sold out Denver crowd singing every word. Fans were also amazed to see their favorite artist floating above them on a lifeboat, moving through a sea of lights as the “Good Days” singer performed only feet from them.
