Interview by Shannon Shumaker

I want to start by talking about your new album, 100, which dropped back in August – what was the highlight of working on this album?

The whole process really as it was the first time we recorded a full album from scratch. Recording at angelic was an awesome experience!

This being your debut album, what goals did you have in mind when working on 100?

We wanted to release a real strong sounding rock album like no other. Our main goal was to show the world we have to offer & we hope everyone digs it!

The first thing that really stood out to me about 100 was it’s length, as a lot of bands seem to be releasing full-length albums that are only 9 or 10 songs long. Was creating a longer, 16 track album a conscious effort on your part or something that just came natural?

The main album is 11 tracks but as we had lots of bonus tracks we wanted to release it became a 16 track album. Something we were happy to do as it shows different sides to us.

For many people, this may be their first time hearing you, so what would you like listeners to be able to take away from 100?

It’s up to the listener what they take away from it that’s what the beauty is about music!

Nearly your entire UK tour sold out before it even started! Were you anticipating such a strong response to the new album?

We have noticed our following is building and building but it’s always hard to predict. We definitely are very grateful & blown away by our sell out shows. The H squad are amazing!

Immediately following your UK tour in support of 100, you’re stateside to tour with Jimmy Eat World – what are you looking forward to the most on these upcoming shows?

Rocking out in new venues in front of big crowds and supporting Jimmy eat world is an honour for us.

What would you like new listeners to take away from your upcoming shows?

We hope they enjoy a LIT 30 minute set and vibe and relate to our music.

After these upcoming tour dates, do you have anything big planned for the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017?

We will be rocking out towards the end of 2016 on the US tour and then preparing for a second bigger 100 UK your in early 2017

Thank you for taking the time to chat with us! Is there anything you’d like to add?

Thanks for all the love and support from everyone keep it 1hunna X
