Singer/songwriter Stealth made waves earlier this summer with his signing to Ultra Music and release of his single, “Gotta Stop Loving You,” but he’s not stopping there. With a new single, “Truth Is” out now, and his EP, Chorus set for release in October, the year is far from over for Stealth.
Hailing from Birmingham, UK Stealth crafts highly intimate and powerful blues infused music that reveals the depths of his soul – something you wouldn’t expect from an artists signed to Ultra Music, but it makes complete sense. His emotive music touches the soul and makes listeners feel something. It’s an ability that launched Stealth’s career with the release of “Judgement Day” and will continue to propel him forward with each song and album release.

Interview by Dom Vigil
You’ve had an amazing year so far with your signing to Ultra Music and the release of some new music. What has been the highlight of your year so far?
It’s hard to pick just one but personally I think it was finding out my latest single “Truth Is” found its way onto FIFA19. It’s always been a big dream of mine.
Ultra Music is a really awesome label for an artist like you because you definitely stand apart from the pack. What makes you the most excited about this new partnership?
The fact that Ultra is so excited! To have a team like this behind you supporting what you do makes you want to take on the world.
A couple of months ago, you released your new track, “Gotta Stop Loving You.” What inspired this song?
I had just broken up with a long term girlfriend. It was the right call but it still really hurt. I just wanted to write a song telling my self what I needed to do. It was pretty cathartic.
What would you like listeners to take away from “Gotta Stop Loving You”?
What ever they like/need really. I may write the music for myself and what I’m going through, but the beauty of music is it can be interpreted in so many different ways and help or comfort people going through a multitude of issues. So for me it’s whatever the listener needs from the song.
“Gotta Stop Loving You” is from your upcoming EP, Chorus. When can fans expect to hear more new music from the EP?
I actually dropped a new single last week called “Truth Is” but the entire EP will be out at the end October.
What goals did you have in mind when you first started working on Chorus? Is there anything you wanted to accomplish with this EP that you haven’t had the chance to do in the past?
I just wanted to create something better than what I put out previously and I feel like I’ve achieved that with this EP. I try not to set exterior goals, I just want to keep pushing myself musically.
What was the most rewarding or exciting part about working on the EP?
I think it’s when the music goes out. Seeing people streaming it or buying it and reacting… that’s the most rewarding part.
With Chorus coming soon, do you have any other big plans coming up? Any shows or tour dates we should know about?
I have my own headline show at St Pancras Old Church in London on November 7th. Don’t miss it!
Thanks for taking the time to chat with us! Is there anything else you’d like to add?
Just a big thanks to everyone who is supporting me and enjoying what I’m doing!
