Foreign Tongues was formed in late 2011 by James Scuderi (guitar) and Cameron Moretti (vocals/guitar) who eventually added members Al Drivas (guitar), Andy Tamulonis (bass) and Joey Barthelette (drums) to round out their current lineup. The band has released a handful of critically acclaimed EPs over the last few years, including 2013’s Glue (Youth Conspiracy) in which Alternative Press said “Foreign Tongues are a fucking weird band, and that’s what makes them kind of amazing”; a sentiment that rings true for their latest music as well.
Foreign Tongues has teamed up with progressive indie-rock band The Felix Culpa on the upcoming four song split, which will feature two new tracks from each band, including the later’s recently released song “Karma City.”
The band will be performing in Pawtucket, RI at The Met on August 6th.
