3 Doors Down will stage the 11th annual The Better Life Foundation concert on Saturday, November 15 at Horseshoe Casino in Tunica, Mississippi. The long-term mission of the foundation is to make a positive change in the lives of children in need of food, shelter, and medical assistance, and to enhance the lives of children and young adults with special needs. Operating with the mission statement, “Changing the World, One Life at a Time,” 3 Doors Down has committed their energies over the past decade to make a tangible contribution for those in need through this annual event, and continuous efforts to generate funding to support these goals.
The event is sponsored by the Mississippi Army National Guard. The evening is 21 and up (under 21 must be accompanied by an adult 21 or older), with Premier Balcony seated tickets at $150 (which includes hors d’oeuvres and bar), while general admission standing floor tickets are $50. VIP presale begins Monday, October 6th at 12 p.m. local time and includes a chance to meet the band, exclusive VIP merchandise, a photograph with 3 Doors Down and more. Once again the annual “Ride For A Cause” motorcycle ride will take place on November 15th at 11:30 a.m. and will originate from Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson in Southaven, MS. The event, organized by Dixie Thunder Run, saw over 400 motorcycles in 2013. Also taking place will be a raffle for a one of a kind 2014 Citizen Soldier VII ~ Harley-Davidson Street Glide FLH (valued at over $35,000). For a $10 donation to the charity fans receive one raffle ticket for a drawing to win the motorcycle and you do not need to be present at the event to win.
