I the Mighty has released a brand new video for their song ‘Adrift’, which is taken from their full-length album, Connector, set for release in the UK on 1st June via LAB Records / Equal Vision.
The footage accompanying ‘Adrift’ is a dynamic montage of the band performing, along with colourful bursts of both worldly and out of this world visuals which may seem abstract but do in fact relate directly to the song itself. It’s an emphatic yet whirlwind three minute journey. Vocalist/guitarist Brent Walsh explains“‘Adrift’ is one of the more meaningful songs on the record for me lyrically. I’m sure we’ve all had a day in which we were reading up on world events and got really down about the current state or direction much of our home is headed in. This song was written on one of those days.”
I the Mighty recently supported Enter Shikari on a two month US tour and they’re currently in the midst of a series of dates leading up to a full US headline tour with support from Hail The Sun and Too Close To Touch in June and July, to which additional dates have just been added. Dates below.
