The New Music Seminar, June 21-23, 2015, proudly announces celebrated actor/songwriter, Denis Leary, as a speaker on the esteemed Songwriters Movement which will take place Monday, June 22nd. Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, a hilarious new music-based TV series on FX Networks, created by and starringDenis Leary, is set to make its debut to the music industry at NMS in Webster Hall‘s iconic Marlin Room on June 23rd, 2015.
This year’s Songwriters Movement will take place at the Wyndham New Yorker Hotel in NYC on Monday, June 22nd. It is during this panel, comprised of seasoned songwriters, that Leary will discuss the role of music in Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll and his songwriting process for the show. This years Songwriters Movement will feature Grammy Award-winner,Peter Asher (President, Peter Asher Management), Jenna Andrews (Artist & Songwriter, Jenna Andrews), Alex Bilowitz (Mr. hiphopchanukah), James Adam Shelley (Musician, American Authors), Jonnie Davis (SVP of A&R/Songwriter, Round Hill Music), Adam Pallin (Songwriter, ASTR), and legendary Grammy Award-winning, Holly Knight (Songwriter, Music Producer, Holly Knight/Good Knight Songs).
Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll premieres on July 16th on FX Networks and will have a pre-screening at NMS! Influential industry delegates will attend this screening which will feature the first three episodes of the breakout series. A quantity of tickets to the event have been set aside and will be distributed to participants of the New Music Seminar.
