The Glorious Sons “Heavy” has been selected as the official theme song for the WWE’s pay-per-view event “BATTLEGROUND,” which will be staged from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, MO on Sunday, July 19th. Major bouts scheduled include Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar (WWE World Heavyweight Championship), Big Show vs. Ryback vs. The Miz (Intercontinental Championship), John Cena vs. Kevin Owens (United States Championship) and Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt. The song “Heavy” rose to #2 on the Canadian Rock Charts, will be heavily integrated in to promotional programming across WWE TV and all on-line properties. The Glorious Sons return to The United States this week for appearances that include Pittsburgh’s Hard Rock Cafe (July 7), Lancaster, PA’s Chameleon Club (July 8), Watertown, NY’s The Ballroom (July 9), and Syracuse, NY’s The Lost Horizon (July 10). Following festival appearances in their home country of Canada that include Big Music Fest 2015 in Kitchener (July 11), Ottawa Bluesfest (July 12). Pemberton Music Festival (July 15). Taste of Edmonton (July 16), Quonset Days in Seven Persons (July 17), and Rock The Shores Festival in Victoria (July 18) amongst others, they return to the U.S for Waterfest in Oshkosh, WI on August 7 followed by a headline appearance at Chicago’s Schubas on the 8th. A run for late Summer in to Early Fall will be announced in the coming weeks, built around anchor dates that include Chill On The Hill in Sterling Heights, MI (September 13), the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville (October 4), and Rock Allegiance Festival in Chester, PA (October 10).
