MOTION CNTRL have unveiled another new track entitled “Messenger,” featured on their self-titled EP, due out on August 21st. In a short amount of time, Motion Cntrl have gained the loyal support of the Hype Machine community, having seen coverage at blogs like Pigeons & Planes, Kick Kick Snare, Discobelle, Buzzbands, The Burning Ear, and several others. FLOOD Magazine referred to the track as “stabbing” and “arpeggiating.”
“Recording this EP was a process, but the results are an illumination of where we’re at and where we’re headed,” says Allyce Engelson on their debut effort.
In addition to releasing their debut EP, the immediate future sees MOTION CNTRL returning to the studio to commence work on a new album, as well as scheduling live performances on both the East and West coast.
