LA-based digital soul duo VECTOR_XING have revealed a new track entitled “Dipped-in-Blue,” which premiered exclusively atEarmilk yesterday. Earmilk refers to the track as “modern yet familiar,” highlighting the dynamic nature of the group’s sound – rooted in both soul and electronic music. “Dipped in Blue” is the follow-up single to the widely embraced “Wild-Child,” released in July.
“The song talks about going through heartache in a digital age,” explains vocalist Stevan Cablayan. “It’s about not letting heartache consume you. It’s about not being fully submerged in the emotions that come along with someone rejecting you as their lover and instead dipping yourself in that emotion in order to learn from it.”
Vector_XING will continue to release new material moving into the fall months. For more information on Vector_XING, be sure to follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Soundcloud.
