State Champs shared a new track “All You Are Is History” and the Max Moore-directed video for it today via Billboard. The song is off their forthcoming sophomore LP Around the World and Back out on Pure Noise Records on October 16, 2015, pre-order for the album is now available.
Billboard said of the track, “The slick hooks run through the chorus like a Slip’N Slide, Derek DiScanio’s vocal sneer is on point, and Evan Ambrosio adds some tight drum fills to the mix. In other words, get excited for the sophomore album.”
The Albany, NY pop punk band has had a busy 2015, between supporting All Time Low on their US tour, touring Australia supporting 5 Seconds of Summer and most recently a headlining US run. The band will continue their heavy touring schedule throughout the fall with a headlining European tour that kicks off this month followed by an US tour with The Wonder Years, Motion City Soundtrack and You Blew It! (all tour dates below)
Formed in 2010, State Champs have released 2 EPs on Pure Noise and their 2013 debut LP The Finer Things which charted at #131 on the Billboard Top 200. Committed road warriors, they have toured the US and Europe multiple times with the likes of Motion City Soundtrack, Bayside, The Wonder Years, The Story So Far and the entirety of the Vans 2014 Warped Tour.
