Sounding like a cross between Brand New and Balance and Composure, reverb rockers Northernmost are set to take their place in today’s music scene. The Massachusetts-based quintet has been hard at work preparing for the release of their upcomingPinedale EP, due out September 18th through Rude Fox Records. Today Northernmost have partnered with Under The Gun Review to exclusively unveil their latest single, “Cloudy.” The song is sonically brighter and more upbeat than previous tracks while still maintaining the band’s signature tone. “‘Cloudy‘ is lyrically one of the most personal songs that I’ve written,” says vocalist/guitarist Jesse Field, and that personal touch is bound to connect with listeners. At this point in their career, the band is ready to take things up a notch, and they’ve done just that with “Cloudy.”
