Oklahoma based pop artist CADY GROVES has unveiled her highly anticipated new single “Dreams,” which premiered exclusively at Billboard yesterday. The track will be featured on Cady’s upcoming EP Dreams, which will be out on October 2nd via Vel Records. Billboard refers to “Dreams” as a “sprightly, buoyant pop song.” The track is Groves’ follow-up to her recent single “Crying Game,” which has received over 140,000 views on YouTube and rave reviews from sources like Idolator, PopCrush, and several others.
“My new single, ‘Dreams’ is kind of my alternate personality shining through,” explains Groves in her recent interview with Billboard. “It’s a chance for people to see the happy-go-lucky ‘anything can happen’ Cady. This song was really fun to write because the message comes across that no matter what life throws at you, you can dream a dream and make it come true, and while your failures are yours, it’s important to remember that your accomplishments are too!”
Cady prides herself on a strong connection with her fans, having built up a widely spread, loyal following since her days at RCA. Now signed to Vel Records, Groves will release her new EP in the coming weeks, and looks to have a very busy 2016. She will support the new single release with tour dates throughout the fall and into winter, and fans can also expect an official music video for “Dreams” in the coming weeks.
