Pity Sex premiered the video for their new single “What Might Soothe You?” today via The FADER which proclaimed, “The clip doesn’t shy away from the vulnerability showcased in their stormy, shoegaze-infected rock music; lingering close-up shots of the band members as they sing about nights of yearning give the video the emotional punch the song deserves.” The track is off of Pity Sex’s upcoming sophomore release, White Hot Moon, coming on Run For Cover Records Spring 2016. Pity Sex will release a limited edition 7″ single of “What Might Soothe You?” with an etched B-side on Run For Cover that is currently available for pre-order.
Pity Sex is set to play Run Cover for Cover Records’ CMJ Showcase and Adhoc’s Car Wash on October 17 in New York. Additionally, Pity Sex announced a December West Coast tour with support from Colleen Green and Eskimeaux. The band will also play select dates on the East Coast and Mid-West this fall including Fun Fun Fun Fest Nites in Austin, Texas (all tour dates below).
