SHANEE PINK has unveiled an official music video for her single “Howl,” featured on her recently released EP Twin Flame. Shanee made the video with the help of filmmaker Ben Sharony who shot it entirely on an iPhone in New York during the summer. The video features Shanee singing and dancing in several unsuspecting locations in the city – including taxi cabs, Penn Station, marketplaces, and more. The new EP has received positive reviews from sources like PopMatters, Popular TV, Purevolume, Impose Magazine, and several others.
With vocals that convey soft vulnerability, she evokes current tastemakers like Haim and Tennis, while forbearers like Debbie Harry can be attributed for ingraining a strong female perspective. She is also indebted to pioneers such as David Bowie, whose capacity for shape shifting and preference for hard driven poetic individualism clearly influence her own soulfulness. TheTwin Flame EP was produced entirely in Beachwood Canyon in Los Angeles by Farm and Johnny What.
Fans can catch Shanee at Hotel Café in Los Angeles on October 24th. Ticket info and details can be found HERE. For more information on Shanee Pink, be sure to follow her on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
