The Drama State are looking to make a name for themselves with their upcoming sophomore full-length album. After sharing ‘The Quiet Life’ sampler with fans along the 2015 Vans Warped Tour, the band is eager to release their second single from that project. “38th & Central” is full of angst and emotion, which resonates through every element of the song from the backing vocals to the overall musicality. Guitarist / vocalist Ronnie Ish describes the impassioned track as,
“An angsty, angry goodbye to someone you once considered family. Washing your hands of all the rumors, knives in the back, and tension created by someone who made promises they ultimately could not keep. Sometimes you want to believe the person you knew exists in the person you occasionally run into, but you know it isn’t true.”
