A Silent Film will be hitting Denver, Colorado on October 23rd in support of their upcoming self-titled album, out now! Described by the duo (Robert Stevenson, vocals/piano and Spencer Walker, drums) as their most personal release to date, the band has been working on A Silent Film for well over a year in their hometown of Oxford, UK. The follow up to the band’s critically acclaimed LP Sand & Snow, was produced by the band’s Robert Stevenson and Spencer Walker, with assistance from Matthew Wilcox (Foster the People, Bethel Music).
This fall isn’t the first time A Silent Film will embark on a US tour in 2015, however. Earlier this year, the duo played a handful of smaller, intimate shows on their Secret Rooms tour, specifically designed to break down the barricades and barriers between the band and their listeners. With no stages, lights or barricades (or even a drum set for Walker, who is more than excited to get back on stage with a full set up) the Secret Rooms tour is vastly different from the string of tour dates that A Silent Film have lined up in the United States. Fans who missed the Secret Rooms tour will have plenty to look forward to, with the duo excited to get back up on larger stages to play some “louder” music for their listeners.
