Western Scene Releases New Single “Believe”

    By Dom VigilOctober 21, 2015

Indie rock band Western Scene, led by Tom Pritchard and Emily Wilder, have released their new single “Believe” off of their upcoming EP. The track premiered on Atwood Magazine and can now be streamed below:

Western Scene was created 3 years ago in Los Angeles as the brainchild of singer/guitarist Tom Pritchard. Starting off he partnered with producer Hugo Nicolson (RadioHead/Primal Scream) to write a debut record with the help of Joey Waronker (Beck) and Jon Hischke (Broken Bells). The music fused Folk/Americana with subtle pop sensibilities and was heavily influenced by his many years writing and playing in bands. The single “Same as you” gained notoriety on speciality radio and was on KROQ’s top five local tracks for 6 weeks. Western Scene’s other single “For you” was featured on the season finale of 90210.

During the process of creating a music video for their 2015 single “See What You Want To,” Tom met Emily Wilder (Wet & Reckless) and began writing the follow up EP with her. The EP is set to be released in early 2016.
