Sworn In has premiered the lyric video for “Sugar Lips” exclusively with VEVO. The song is off the band’s sophomore album The Lovers/The Devil released via Razor & Tie. The album was produced by Will Putney (Miss May I, The Amity Affliction). Buy the album HERE.
Singer Tyler Dennen explains the story behind the album, “It begins with a male character living a life filled with unrequited love. He’s been kind of drowning in his head. He’s obsessive, psychotic, anxiety ridden, possessive, insane sounding. As he gets progressively worse, the female character is cold and distant. Midway through, the whole dynamic reverses. The female character is now the crazy, obsessive person. The male character, after undergoing all of these emotional beatings, becomes the devil character rather than the lover.”
