After seven years, Denver post-hardcore band Caramel Carmela have announced that they are breaking up. Along with the news, the band has also announced a farewell show in their hometown on Friday, December 18th.
Support for Caramel Carmela’s farewell show is Forty Fathoms, The Coast Is Ours, Kid Astronaut & Tyler Glasgow.
Additionally, the band has also released a lyric video for “Best Friends Till The End,” which can be viewed after the jump. Read a statement from the band below:
“After nearly 7 years of making music and performing together, we have decided to say farewell. Our ending comes bittersweet, as we all still love this band and the people we’ve been able to share it with along our journey. Many of our members live out of state now and as of this January, Jack will be the only original member living in Colorado. In addition to being apart from each other, we are growing as people and changing as musicians and we are interested in pursuing different avenues in life and music. We have nothing but love for each other and support everyone’s decisions. During our time together, we played shows all across the United States, but nothing gave us more pleasure than performing in our hometown of Denver. Before we lower the curtain, we would like to kindly invite all of our friends, fans, family and supporters to join us one last time at our favorite venue, Marquis Theatre in Denver on December 18th, 2015 for our farewell show.” – Caramel Carmela
