New York-based recording artist/songwriter STERLING FOX just released his new video for “Angry Sons,” featuring the vocals of English singer/songwriter & DJ Samantha Ronson. The track was produced by Sterling himself and is the follow-up track to “Freak Caroline. PopMatters refers to the video as “brilliant.”
Sterling describes the video as “a mashup of 60s motorcycle road movies and the story centers around a lesbian biker who must leave her troubled past behind and set out on the road on her steel suicide machine.” The main character is played by rock-and-roll icon Marianne Faithfull and includes a cameo by Bill Pullman as the Saxophone Man. Sterling goes on to explain that the video “is really just about the imagery of being on the road and living on the edge and how violence can be passed down the family tree through one’s actions.”
Prior to releasing his own music, Sterling was an accomplished ghostwriter, having worked with Lana Del Rey, Adam Levine, Avicii, Madonna and others. The records he has worked on have sold more than 12 million copies to date.
“Angry Sons” is available for streaming now on Sterling Fox’s official Soundcloud, and can be purchased on iTunes, Amazon, and most other major digital retailers. For more information on Sterling Fox, be sure to follow him on Facebook, Twitter, and Soundcloud.
