The Revivalists have announced new 2016 tour dates in support of their acclaimed albumMen Amongst Mountains which will take the fast-rising New Orleans rock band to the West Coast, following an extensive 2015 tour that has included a slew of sold-out dates. The pre-sale for the 2016 shows, which will include stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Portland and Seattle, begins Wednesday, November 18 and public on-sale starts Friday, November 20. Stay tuned to www.therevivalists.com for ticket info. PRESS HERE to listen to Men Amongst Mountains, which premiered via Paste.

On November 20 and 21, the tour will bring The Revivalists home to play two anticipated nights at Tipitina’s in New Orleans. Fans are clamoring for these shows as they are the band’s first hometown dates since selling out Tipitina’s twice and House of Blues earlier this year. The band will close out their whirlwind year with a New Year’s Eve show in Atlanta, GA atBuckhead Theatre.

Since releasing their new album Men Amongst Mountains earlier this year via Wind-up Records, the seven-piece have struck a chord with their rootsy rock ‘n’ roll and their live performance prowess. Fronted by enigmatic lead singer/guitarist David Shaw, The Revivalists’ world-class musicianship is front and center at their renowned live shows asguitar, drums, pedal steel guitar, bass, saxophone, keyboard, and trumpet collide with Shaw’s soulful, swaggering vocals to create a sonic imprint all their own. Their eclectic Southern mix of jazz-funk grooves, blues rock grit, and warm melodies garnered them a #2 debut on the Billboard Alternative Albums Chart, a Top 10 debut on the iTunes Alternative Albums Chart and more than 1.2 million streams on Spotify. The band was named WXPN’s Artist of the Month in October, and their lead single “Keep Going” sailed into the Top 25 on the Triple A Chart. PRESS HERE to watch the live session video, and keep an eye on The Revivalists as they carry the momentum from their breakout year into 2016.
