BROADSIDE tackle a serious issue with their latest video “A Light In The Dark,” one of the deepest songs on their debut album Old Bones. Their ode to self-preservation faces the question of life and death, and analyzes a reflective conversation in the mind of vocalist Ollie Baxxter. “’A Light In The Dark’ is an inner monologue of questioning my self-worth, and essentially my strong desire to overcome negativity and be successful,” the vocalist explains.
For a more in-depth look at the track and behind the scenes footage, head to Hope For The Day and hear more about the song’s meaning directly from Baxxter.
Today, Baxxter and guitarist Dorian Cooke are grabbing the acoustics and sharing their stories in a stripped down fashion on the “Cold Kids And Campfires Pt 2 Tour” with 7 Minutes In Heaven and Marina Bay.
