Southern California’s The White Noise has announced the details for their debut EP Aren’t You Glad?, to release on February 26th via Fearless Records. Launching an audio assault on the listener, The White Noise pack a high-dose of punk aesthetic with a hyperactive blend of aggressive verses, melodic choruses, and lead singer Shawn Walker’s acidic vocals, giving the band a raw and explosive edge.
Aren’t You Glad? introduces the band’s erratic, anything-goes style that sets them apart and never pulls back the intensity throughout a 6 song spread. The EP is now available for pre-order on iTunes, with physical options available atTheWhiteNoiseBand.com. Each pre-order will include instant downloads of singles “Bloom”, “Red Eye Lids”, and a personalized note from the band.
“We wrote this record because we were at a point of our lives where we needed to feel something real, something different, and something we would be proud of,” explains lead Walker. “We hope that you can make this record your own and feel something while listening to it too.”
Leading up to the release of Aren’t You Glad?, The White Noise has released two new tracks “Bloom” and “Red Eye Lids”, and are gearing up for their U.S. tour alongside I See Stars, label mates Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, and Get Scared. The tour is set to kick off on February 17th in Baltimore, MD at Soundstage. Scroll down for full tour routing and check out the music video for “Bloom” below.
