The Bergamot have premiered their brand new single “Alive,” via Paste Magazine. You can listen to the latest track from their forthcoming album Tones – out February 11th, 2016 – today, here: http://bit.ly/20C6ZgO.
On “Alive,” the band says: “Sometimes the greatest way to feel alive is to just go forth into life blindly with the hope of learning and growing. Alive really sets an optimistic tone to a life lived – not allowed to pass by.“
The Bergamot recently wrapped their highly successful The Unity Collective USA Kickstarter campaign, which surpassed its goal of $15,000 towards the band’s upcoming 50 State “Unity Tour,” raising more than 124% of the funds needed. The money raised will be used to maintain the band’s Volvo throughout the tour, in addition to documenting the entire experience and providing updates to fans along the way. At each stop, The Bergamot will be inviting fans to sign their car as a symbol of unity. The “Unity Tour” kicked off in NYC on January 2nd, 2016, and will include a homecoming in South Bend, IN on April 2nd. It also marks the band’s last tour in their 2002 Volvo, which has racked up over 271,000 miles throughout their history of touring. The Volvo will be auctioned off at the tour’s final stop, with all proceeds going towards Memorial Children’s Hospital.
