Rogue Wave Announce First New Album in 3 Years + Stream “What Is Left To Solve”

    By Dom VigilFebruary 9, 2016

Rogue Wave have announced their first new album in over 3 years entitled Delusions of Grand Fur, out on Easy Sound on April 29th, 2016. The Bay Area band’s sixth studio album, Delusions of Grand Fur – a title chosen as a riff on the tendency of fresh-faced musicians to misperceive the reality of band life – marks the reinvigorated return of Zach Rogue, his longtime bandmate Pat Spurgeon, and their fellow bandmembers.

Recording and producing the entire LP themselves, Rogue Wave has seized creative control of its identity and sound and is set to smash any preconceptions of its music, revealing the most truthful, powerful, and urgent sonic blueprint of the band to date. CLICK HERE for physical pre-order and HERE for digital.

Rogue Wave have also released the album’s lead single “What Is Left To Solve,” a dark, indie pop single with electronic flourishes. The track premiered over the weekend on Sirius XMU, is streaming now exclusively via Stereogum, and is available as an instant grat with all digital pre-orders.

Rogue Wave will also be taking Delusions of Grand Fur on the road this Spring, with newly announced tour dates starting in May. Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 12th – see below to find a show near you.
