Flordia-based emo quintet, Intervention are now streaming their new EP, Lucid exclusively with The Prelude Press. Lucid, which is a stark contrast to the band’s sunny hometown of West Palm Beach, is a must listen to for fans of similar pop-punk groups like Superheaven, Balance and Composure, and Daisyhead. The band recently released the music video for their track, “Keep” with Substream Magazine – check it out here, and listen to the full album stream below.
“We took some time off as a band to really refine our sound to something that we all love. We want to keep the pop aspects of the music as well as blend it with more aggressive, rock ’n’ roll sound that influenced our musical upbringing. Tate Mercer made our vision into a reality and we can’t be thankful enough. Tate has done some of our favorite records/songs so it was an honor to work with him.” – Vocalist Drew Portalatin.
Lucid was produced by Tate Mercer (Daisyhead, Better Off) and will officially be out February 26th. Intervention will be touring with Renaissance next month in the Southeast (Dates Below). Pre-order the EP now on bandcamp: interventionfl.bandcamp.com.
