Unwritten Law has partnered with Substream Magazine to unveil an acoustic cut of “Welcome to Oblivion” now coined as, “Oblivion” off of The Hit List. The song comes from the band’s highly anticipated eighth studio album, Acoustic due out April 1, 2016 via Cyber Tracks, owned by El Hefe (guitarist of NOFX) and wife Jen Abeyta.
Scott Russo, the band’s frontman commented:
“‘Oblivion’ was originally written acoustically, but we translated it to distortion for ‘The Hit List.’ This version gives a chance to hear what I was really saying, as it is stripped and naked. In choosing songs for this record, I wanted to pick songs with my favorite lyrics, because I felt they would be more exposed.”
