Today, Hip-Hop and R&B’s newest crooner, Darrein Safron, released his brand new single “That Me.” The track, which is already gaining major traction at radio across the country, is the main single from Darrein’s EP, The Brilliant EP, which drops tomorrow, March 11.
Darrein has been singing since he was two years old, and after a childhood in show business, the now 20-year-old St. Louis, Missouri singer-songwriter signed to the iconic Strange Music imprint after appearing on label boss Tech N9ne’s “We Just Wanna Party,” as well as songs with Rittz and Stevie Stone last year.
The Brilliant EP is Darrein’s first release on Strange Music, and a full LP from the singer is slated for fall 2016. He says of the project, “The ‘Brilliant’ in The Brilliant EP shouldn’t be taken as cockiness, but as how ‘Brilliant’ different emotions discovered through music can be. That’s how I felt when making this.”
The Brilliant EP will be available on iTunes and everywhere tomorrow, March 11.
