Time King have premiered the audio and visuals for their new single “Main Street” via New Noise Magazine. Fans can watch the video now below!
The new song serves as the entrance to Time King’s forthcoming project The 1955 Collection. Starting with their upcoming EP, Frontierland, the album will be comprised of 4 separate EPs as well as interrelated singles to be released throughout the next year.
Filmed by Nico Moreno (UK Glamour, Italian Vanity Fair) “Main Street” evokes the colorful nostalgia of childhood – specifically the distinctive aura of Disneyland.
“The song is about how attractive, even addictive, nostalgia can be,” the band told New Noise Magazine, “It’s about the process of coming across something or someone that ‘makes you feel like a kid again.'”
Using projectors and home footage, as well as colors, textures and silhouettes, Time King created a “Fantasia-esque blurring of reality.” The track, showcasing the band’s signature blend of genres from jazz-fusion to classic prog rock, features production credits from Time King bassist James “Jimmy T” Meslin (Dream Theater, Kevin Devine) and mastering by Steve Fallone (The Strokes, TV On The Radio, Seal).
