Church Girls Share New Single, “Glass”

    By Dom VigilSeptember 8, 2017

Philadelphia-based Church Girls have revealed a new single “Glass” from their album Hidalgo due September 15th. Frontwoman Mariel Beaumont tells WXPN, who premiered the track that “the opening line to this song is a nod to ‘Breaking Glass’ off David Bowie’s Low — one of my all-time favorites. It’s about feeling a bit out of place at a party, hoping you can break through the small talk into something deeper, but failing. We’ve had fun letting it evolve in our live show over the last few months by exaggerating the dynamics so the hits have a ton of impact.”

Hidalgo is available to pre-order now at Bandcamp.

Church Girls have also announced a U.S. tour in support of the upcoming release. The tour will make stops in Chicago, Denver, St. Louis and more. All upcoming shows are listed below.
