London’s piano bashing cockney ska band Buster Shuffle has announced their long-awaited new album, I’ll Take What I Want, out November 24th via Burning Heart Records. Today, the band have also unveiled a video for their first new single, “I Don’t Trust A Word You Say.” Pre-sales for the new record are expected to launch in the coming weeks.
Watch the video for “I Don’t Trust A Word You Say” now below.
I’ll Take What I Want marks the band’s first album in three years, and if the first single is any indication, the record is well worth the wait. On their debut, “I Don’t Trust A Word You Say,” the band emerges ripe with attitude, exuding a unique amalgam of punk angst and pop-infused hooks.
“Inspired by the UK’s political meltdown, our new single is a two minute high octane Ska Punk banger. Our latest raucous sonic offering takes us to a heavier, murkier place than in previous releases, whilst retaining our signature, inimitable London sound.” – Jet Baker (Piano/Vocals)
The London four piece featuring Jet Baker (piano/vocals), Terry Mascali (drums), James Stickley (guitar) and Gravy (bass) will make their landfall in the U.S. next week for a tour with Italian glam-rockers Giuda in support of I’ll Take What I Want. Tour dates are listed below.
