    By Dom VigilNovember 6, 2017

Nashville-based Jeffrey James is kicking off the new year with the announcement of a new EP titled East London.

“Drunk Folk Singer” and “Barefoot Troubadour” Beans On Toast has released “Jamie & Lilly,” the new single to be released from his forthcoming album, Cushty. A modern day love song set against a Brighton backdrop, we’re offered a glimpse into the lives of two wonderfully special people, a teacher and a nurse, whose separate (and coincidental) correspondence with Beans led to this open-hearted celebration of everyday life. Check out the video for “Jamie & Lilly,” featuring the actual couple this song is written about below!

Set for release on his birthday as he does every year, December 1, via standard bearers and long time companions Xtra Mile Recordings (Frank Turner, Against Me!, Skinny Lister), the latest record finds him within a hair’s breadth of reaching a monumental double-digit milestone of studio album releases. Available as a free download with all pre-orders of the Cushty album, the tracks “Jamie & Lilly” and “Taylor Swift” are also available to stream on Spotify HERE. Pre-orderCushty via iTunes and the Xtra Mile Recordings Store.

Beans on Toast will also be touring the UK with labelmates Skinny Lister on their “Double Trouble” tour this fall. More North American dates to be announced shortly.
