Denver alternative pop trio, Modern Suspects have premiered their new music video for “Demons In The Night” today! The song is taken from the band’s recently released EP, II and is accompanied by retro visuals by Jimmy Gable and Dan Mancini of SneakyBoy.
Of the song and video, the band said, “This song was written just after midnight, while I was feeling an overwhelming amount of defeat. It was blowing snow outside, cold inside, I was tired and really just wanted to go home. Somehow, I managed to force myself to not stick it out and keep on writing. This song is a direct result of that night and what I was feeling. This song is bigger than just that night, though. I believe we all struggle with our “Demons In The Night” and are constantly given the option to give up – a white flag. It’s what you do when presented that flag that really counts.
We set out with a goal of making the music video fun and hoping it would show our lighter side and I think it achieves just that – It’s a perfect blend with the songs more serious and emotional lyrical content. We spent 7 night filming this thing – once from 6pm to 530am. Jimmy Gable and Dan Mancini of SneakyBoy are the masterminds behind this video, so all credit to them and the countless hours of editing they put in.”
Modern Suspects’ newest EP, II was released on October 26th, 2017 and can be streamed on Spotify now HERE.
