
This summer, Denver indie/rock band Dear me, celebrated the release of their debut album, Present Perfect and now, they’re releasing the simplistic yet striking new lyric video for stand-out track, “Pushing Pills.” The heavily lyric driven track is complimented perfectly by the self produced and edited video which cost the band a total of $7 to film. “Pushing Pills is a song about Donald Trump, dirty dishes, the rising cost of living in Denver, childhood trauma, and the way that a super-hip brand of apathy blends them all together. The video was filmed using only an iphone, a wallet, some black sheets, a pen, and a big jar of ibuprofen.” – Dear me,
