The Wombats Release New Single, “Turn”

    By Dom VigilDecember 6, 2017

With millions of streams in the past year, a growing fan base and successful recent tour with Snoh Aalegrah, buzzing Long Beach-born R&B singer and songwriter Giveon has unveiled the music video for his latest single “LIKE I WANT YOU” today.

The Wombats have unveiled “Turn,” the latest single from their forthcoming fourth studio album, BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE, out February 9, 2018 via Kobalt Music Recordings. BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE is available for pre-order now, HERE with “Turn” and “Lemon To A Knife Fight” as instant grat tracks.

“‘Turn’ was written in New York and is probably the most electronic song on the album,” frontman Matthew “Murph” Murphy shared. “Which is weird as I was pushing for the album to be more organic and less synth driven. ‘Turn’ was…kind of a beautiful mistake.”

In support of BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE, The Wombats will embark on an extensive North American tour with stops in New York, Los Angeles and more in January 2018 – full routing is below. Click HERE to purchase tickets. The Wombats will also be joining Weezer and The Pixies on select dates on their summer 2018 co-headline tour.
