Hot Mulligan have announced they will release their long-awaited, debut album, Pilot, on March 23rd via No Sleep Records. Along with the announcement, the band have also shared their new single, “All You Wanted By Michelle Branch,” which can be heard now HERE.
Fans can catch Hot Mulligan on tour in March/April with Knuckle Puck and Boston Manor. The new single is available for purchase on a very limited number (30!) of flexi records from No Sleep Records at http://store.nosleeprecords.com/catalogs/hot-mulligan. Pilot will be available for pre-order on February 1st.
“This song is about combined past relationship experiences. It’s mostly driven by the damage a lot of us do to ourselves after a relationship ends, like checking up on each other’s social media profiles, or listening to songs and going places you used to go together. It’s like we know we’re going to bum ourselves out, yet we do it anyway. That’s where a lot of the narrative lines come from, but most importantly this song is the realization that you’ll be better off if you stop reminding yourself of the past and that you’ll feel better if you just focus on what’s ahead.” – Chris Freeman (Guitar/Vocals)
